What can I do if the air volume decreases or has a limited output?
If AWP begins experiencing limited output then the air pump or lamp is most likely being restricted. In this situation, remove all debris and obstructions from the airflow pathway into the AWP. Check and clean all filters. If the problem persists and output isn’t restored, please call for further instruction.
How do I clean the filters in the AWP?
The filters at the sides of the AWP may be removed for cleaning. Simply pulling outward on the plastic frame will detach it from the side of the AWP machine. The filter may be placed under warm, running water from the tap. Softly, pat the filter with a soft washcloth, cloth towel, or paper towel. Avoid squeezing or twisting the filter as this will weaken and break the filter fibers. Compressed/Canned air may be purchased from a local office supply store and used to blow air through the filter to assist in the drying procedure. Allow the filter to “air dry” thoroughly before placing it back on the AWP housing. The “air pump” filters may be removed from the round holes on the side of the AWP by using a small pair of tweezers or a toothpick. Use the same procedure and cautions for cleaning as described above. CAUTION: Do not run the AWP Machine without the filters in place. Do not run the AWP machine if the filters are damp or wet.
